The Andis® Easy Clip is a powerful corded clipper rated medium to heavy duty for most (but not all) coat types so check 'rated for' and the coat types list below before you buy. It comes with a standard Andis UltraEdge Size 10 Blade included free (valued at $49.98). Being an A5 model, the Andis Easy Clip fits all brands of standard blades from sizes 50 to 3, as well as all universal comb attachments for coat lengths from under 1mm to over 3cm. Kit also comes with soft Andis carry case, small blade oil, educational dog grooming DVD, scissors and 6 comb attachments with coat lengths from 3mm to 19mm.
RATED FOR Medium to heavy duty use for full body clipping for most dog coats depending on condition. Note however that thicker, double, non-shed, mixed texture, wire or difficult coats should either be free of knots and tangles, and any stuck, dead coat removed, before clipping - OR for difficult, knotted or matted coats, we recommend upgrading to a Super Duty model like the Andis AGC instead. Coat prep is extra important for this model as the motor does not have the same power and torque as a Super Duty model, being reflected in the price. Also popular for trimming horse fetlocks, muzzles, ears, bridle paths (or for full body horse clipping upgrade to the AGC). The Easy Clip motor is lighter, more powerful, and quieter, can also be used as affordable back-up clippers for groomers wanting the peace of mind of having a second clipper should anything unexpected happen to your main clipper, but without the cost of a buying another higher-rated clipper.

For home users & non-professional groomers we recommend the following steps for successful grooming:
Step 1: Brush & wash first. Always brush out mats before bathing. Shampoo & condition, then rinse well to remove all sand, dirt, debris & any uninvited guests!
Step 2: Dry: The coat must be completely dry before clipping & trimming. Towel dry then use a hand held dryer - not on hot.
Step 3: Comb. Remove any remaining knots with a slicker or rake before clipping.
Step 4: Clip & Trim: If you followed all 3 steps, you're ready for clipping, then trimming. Not brushing, washing, drying and combing before clipping or trimming can quickly blunt your blade. Always oil blade before use. Remember to re-oil regularly while grooming for a smooth cut and to reduce blade heat. Always oil blades before storage (watch the how to video).
Important: Failure to wash, dry & comb prior to clipping / trimming will quickly blunt your blade, which is not covered by the warranty. After use - Remove blade & wipe loose hair from the blade, then oil again before storing. Coolant recommended during use if blade overheats, and for cleaning. Avoid blade burn: Touch the blade regularly during use. Do not clip or trim using a hot blade.
When will my order leave?
Most orders leave the same day if placed by midday Monday to Friday. Orders on weekends, public holidays, or for large products (eg: dryers, tubs, tables), usually leave the next working day.
When will my order arrive?
Most orders arrive 1 to 2 working days after they've left us. Larger items may take 2 to 4 working days. Allow 1 to 2 days extra for rural delivery. If your order combines larger and smaller items, larger items may arrive a day or two after smaller items. Please be aware of delivery delay updates from our courier partners here for smaller orders and here for larger orders.
How much is shipping?
Shipping starts from $3 for small, light items. Most orders are maximum $5 for standard shipping for orders up to 10kgs. Add $4 for rural delivery. Bulk shipping rates apply for orders over 10kgs or high-volume products (such as tables, tubs, dryers and bulk shampoo). The website works out shipping in checkout, before you pay.
