Fido's Styptic Powder in a larger 15 gram size with scoop included.

Controls bleeding fast. Styptic Powder is a must-have for every groomer and vet clinic, or anyone who cuts dogs or cats nails. Also used on birds when trimming wings and nails. 

Fidos also makes Styptic Gel which can be applied direct from the bottle.


Fido's Styptic Powder is a safe, effective, fast-acting formula which controls bleeding due to clipping nails, and superficial minor cuts and incisions.  

Apply to the bleeding area with moderate pressure for 5 to 10 seconds until bleeding stops. Repeat as needed. Bandage if necessary.

When will my order leave?

Most orders leave the same day if placed by midday Monday to Friday. Large products (eg: tubs and tables), orders placed on weekends or public holidays usually leave the next working day

When will my order arrive?

Most orders arrive 1 to 2 working days after they've left us. Larger items may take 2 to 4 working days. Allow 1 to 2 days extra for rural delivery. If your order combines larger and smaller items, larger items may arrive a day or two after smaller items. If in a hurry, please check the delivery updates from our courier partners here for NZ Post and here for Toll.

How much is shipping?

Shipping starts from $3.80 for small, light items. Most orders are $6 for standard shipping up to 10kgs. Please note rural delivery has different rates. Bulk shipping rates apply for orders over 10kgs or high-volume products (such as tables, tubs, dryers and bulk shampoo). The website works out shipping in checkout, before you pay. 

Are you in stock?

Stock levels on our website are live. What's showing in stock online is physically in stock in our NZ warehouse, ready to ship.

Can I return what I've purchased?

By law we don't have to accept change of mind returns, so before you buy, please check with us first if you're not 100% sure if a product matches your needs. Keep in mind a change of mind return is not the same as a warranty return (for a suspected fault or defect), but purchasing the wrong product is considered change of mind.
