Is your puppy or dog's coat flaky? The super soothing Pet Head Feeling Flaky formula is perfect for dogs with dry or sensitive skin and gentle enough for puppies sensitive skin. The moisture-rich formula helps relieve dry, irritated, flaky skin and restores the coats natural shine. Yucca, silk proteins and chamomile combine to soothe, nourish and condition skin and coat. pH balanced and free of petroleum derivatives and DEA, will not harm your dog if licked or swallowed.

As with all Pet Head products, the amazing scent deserves a special mention. An utterly delicious, fresh strawberry yoghurt fragrance - and it really does smell like fresh fruity strawberry yogurt - no fake chemical smell here - smells good enough to eat! For fans of a stronger scent, the Pet Head Lifes An Itch Watermelon is excellent also. TIP: Just pull the cute bone-shaped handle straight up to reveal the easy-squeeze dispenserDilute 16:1

Customer tip: This is a very thick, super-moisturising shampoo (like golden syrup consistency), so can be diluted with water if you want extra lather and the coat doesn't need an extra-strength treatment - especially handy for larger dogs or thicker coats - customer feedback is around 50ml mixed per litre of warm water is ideal. Use undiluted for flaky, dry skin.

To Use: Wet the coat completely with warm water. Apply shampoo gently, work from neck back to tail. Lather well into coat. Avoid eyes and ears. Rinse thoroughly and towel dry. Can be diluted however for best results for dry, flaky skin use undiluted. 


When will my order leave?

Most orders leave the same day if placed by midday Monday to Friday. Orders on weekends, public holidays, or for large products (eg: dryers, tubs, tables), usually leave the next working day.

When will my order arrive?

Most orders arrive 1 to 2 working days after they've left us. Larger items may take 2 to 4 working days. Allow 1 to 2 days extra for rural delivery. If your order combines larger and smaller items, larger items may arrive a day or two after smaller items. 

How much is shipping?

Shipping starts from $3 for small, light items. Most orders are maximum $5 for standard shipping for orders up to 10kgs. Add $4 for rural delivery. Bulk shipping rates apply for orders over 10kgs or high-volume products (such as tables, tubs, dryers and bulk shampoo). The website works out shipping in checkout, before you pay.

Stock levels on our website are live. What's showing in stock online is physically in stock in our NZ warehouse, ready to ship.
