The Wahl Lithium Pet Pro Cordless is a light-use clipper and trimmer in one (not rated for all coats - see below*). Runs corded and cordless. Lithium-ion rechargable battery. 100 min run-time from 1 hr 40 min re-charge. Charge-and-go feature: every 1 min charge gives instant 3 min cordless run-time. Also runs corded. LED display shows how many minutes cordless run-time left and tracks battery level.


Starter kit includes: clipper, cord, case, blade, starter oil, cleaning brush, trimming scissors, 4 comb attachments (3mm to 12mm). Pet Pro blade made for this clipper (this is not an A5 model / universal clipper). Blade is easy to detach and clean (no screws or tools needed), and with comb attachments (supplied) gives you coat lengths of 3mm, 6mm, 9mm or 12mm. Does not fit universal comb attachments. Small plastic case with carry handle included. 

*COAT TYPES: Dual-use clipper and trimmer. Trimming: paw pads, between toes, genitals, abdomen, face, ears. Rated for all coat types when used as a trimmer only, on lighter / shorter coats only. Note trimming and clipping are not the same. When used for full-body clipping: Rated light to medium use only, rated for all lighter, thinner puppy coats (before the adult coat comes through), and some adult dogs with lighter, thinner, 'easy' coats. For thicker, double, difficult, wire, curly, wool, knotted or matted coats, upgrade to a heavy duty or super duty model like the KM Cordless. Blades: This is a single blade clipper. It does not fit other brands or lengths of blades. It includes 4 comb attachments for lengths from 3mm to 12mm. Additional comb attachments for different lengths are not available for this model of clipper. 

Step 1: Brush & wash first. Always brush out mats & knots before bathing. Shampoo and condition, then rinse well to remove all sand, dirt, debris & any uninvited guests! For long, thick, curly or double coats, or for coats prone to knots and tangles, use conditioner as well as shampoo.

Dense / double coats: For coats with a dense undercoat, a deshedder can be used before or after bathing to remove excess undercoat before clipping. Check your clipper is rated for heavy duty or super duty use when clipping extra thick, double or difficult coats.

Step 2: Dry: The coat must be completely dry before clipping. Never clip a wet coat. Towel dry then use a hand held dryer not on hot - or a powerful pet dryer for very fast dry time.

Step 3: Comb. Remove any remaining knots with a slicker, rake or comb before clipping. If a wide toothed comb cannot go through the coat, a comb attachment (clipped on to your blade) won't be able to either. 

Step 4: Clip: If you followed all 3 steps, you're ready to clip. Not brushing, washing, drying and combing before clipping can quickly blunt your blade.

Avoiding blade burn: Oil blades before you clip. Re-oil while clipping for a smooth cut and to reduce blade heat. Touch blade frequently to check heat to avoid blade burn, which can be serious for your pet. When hot, either stop & wait for the blade to cool down, swap for a cool blade, or use blade coolant. Always oil blade again after cleaning, before storage (watch the how to oil video here).

Important: Failure to wash, dry & comb prior to clipping can blunt your blade very quickly, which is not covered by the warranty. Read how to keep blades sharper for longer >

After use - Wipe loose hair and any product build-up from the blade (a smooth towel or old toothbrush is ideal). Use blade cleaner or blade dip, then oil again before storing to prevent rust & corrosion. Store in a cool, dry place.

When will my order leave?

Most orders leave the same day if placed by midday Monday to Friday. Orders on weekends, public holidays, or for large products (eg: dryers, tubs, tables), usually leave the next working day.

When will my order arrive?

Most orders arrive 1 to 2 working days after they've left us. Larger items may take 2 to 4 working days. Allow 1 to 2 days extra for rural delivery. If your order combines larger and smaller items, larger items may arrive a day or two after smaller items. 

How much is shipping?

Shipping starts from $3 for small, light items. Most orders are maximum $5 for standard shipping for orders up to 10kgs. Add $4 for rural delivery. Bulk shipping rates apply for orders over 10kgs or high-volume products (such as tables, tubs, dryers and bulk shampoo). The website works out shipping in checkout, before you pay.

Stock levels on our website are live. What's showing in stock online is physically in stock in our NZ warehouse, ready to ship.
