This service includes FREE rural return shipping. We'll return your sharpened blade by courier anywhere in NZ > or for free STANDARD return shipping order the standard wide blade service.
HOW IT WORKS:
1. Match quantity above, to number of blades you want sharpened (eg: 2 blades = qty 2).
2. After you order: We'll send you a prepaid addressed courier bag right away.
3. Wrap blade/s separately in the bag to avoid damage. Drop bag to your post shop or give to your postie.
4. Allow 4 to 7 working days* turn-around once blade/s are received.

*From spring to early summer our sharpener gets an influx of blades, so please allow 1 to 2 working days extra at those times of year. Plan ahead and send dull / blunt blades well before you need them back. Normal turn-around is 4 to 7 working days during non-peak times.
IMPORTANT: Check the blades list below carefully before ordering this service. Blades sent that are not able to be sharpened, will be returned to sender and refunded minus a $5 courier fee. If unsure, contact us to check before ordering.
Blades that CAN be sharpened with this service:
All extra wide, steel, A5 blades in all sizes including the popular Andis T10, Andis T84, Andis ShowEdge, and Wahl extra wide blades. If your blade is standard width, not extra wide, refer to the standard blade sharpening service (standard width blades cost less to sharpen).
Blades that CANNOT be sharpened with this service:
Trimmer blades, ceramic blades, 5 in 1 blades, adjustable blades with multiple lengths, taper blades, blades with plastic attachments and blocking (curved extra wide) blades.
This is a specialist blade sharpening service, using machinery calibrated for dog and horse blades, combined with years of experience. Blades do not have flat surfaces. To ensure they cut instead of 'chew' or fold the coat, blades are hollow ground (allowing blades to cut like tiny scissors), and set to the correct tension. This ensures blades perform their best, run cooler and quieter, and won't put the clipper blade drive or motor under extra strain. Your blade will retain a sharper edge for longer, resulting in more uses between sharpens.
When will my order leave?
Most orders leave the same day if placed by midday Monday to Friday. Orders on weekends, public holidays, or for large products (eg: dryers, tubs, tables), usually leave the next working day.
When will my order arrive?
Most orders arrive 1 to 2 working days after they've left us. Larger items may take 2 to 4 working days. Allow 1 to 2 days extra for rural delivery. If your order combines larger and smaller items, larger items may arrive a day or two after smaller items.
How much is shipping?
Shipping starts from $3 for small, light items. Most orders are maximum $5 for standard shipping for orders up to 10kgs. Add $4 for rural delivery. Bulk shipping rates apply for orders over 10kgs or high-volume products (such as tables, tubs, dryers and bulk shampoo). The website works out shipping in checkout, before you pay.
