Size 7 (3 & 4mm)

Size 7 blades are a popular choice for the body and legs for many breeds and coat types for a medium length. Depending on the brand, a size 7 leaves the coat around 3mm to 4mm (longer if you clip with the direction of coat growth). A popular length blade for: Spaniels, Collies, Bichons, Terriers and Shih Tzus and any coat type you'd like the resulting length to be 3mm to 4mm. FC = Finish Cut. ST = Skip Tooth.


For beginners > Read the Blade FAQ's before you buy. Most blades are A5 type or universal fit blades, meaning they all fit all brands of clippers provided the clipper is an A5 type clipper.
