Why don't dog dryers get hot?

Unlike human hairdryers, dog dryer heaters don’t get ‘hot’ as such. It’s the air force not the heat that’s doing the drying. Make sure to take ambient air temperature into account. When using a dryer with the heater on in summer, if the ambient temperature’s already hot, you could risk burning or over-heating the dog. If already a comfortable air temperature, dryers are best used with the heater off. Keep in mind the motor gets warmer the longer you run it, so that adds to the temperature coming out also. Most models have an on / off switch for heat, but some like the Vortex 5 offer heat control with multiple heat settings. Shernbao models have the more traditional on / off heat switch.
