4.5" to 6" scissors are popular for close work around the eyes and ears, trimming feet, between paw pads. THINNERS

Single blade blenders (one solid blade, one notched) are popular for blending different lengths of hair together and smoothing track lines after clipping. The most popular type of thinner. Double blade thinners (two notched blades) are preferred for thicker coats to thin the hair.
