The Heiniger Saphir comes in two colours. The corded model comes in black. This is the same clipper as the purple Heiniger Saphir Cordless, just corded.
Drawing power directly from the mains, when run corded it offers more power than the Saphir when cordless, plus it can be converted from corded to cordless later (additional purchase of battery pack required - see details below).
Rated super duty, the Heiniger Saphir copes with all coat types, for full body clipping for both dogs and horses, even for wool, non-shed, difficult or matted coats. The powerful single speed runs at 3,200 dbs when corded, compared to 2,560 cordless.
With no battery, that also means a lighter weight in the hand at just 330 grams (when cordless the weight is 440 grams). Find out more below...
Description
From the popular, swiss-made Heiniger brand comes the Heiniger Saphir in black. The same impressive performance as the Saphir in purple, but with a cord for constant power and more speed. This model can also be converted from corded to cordless.
What's in the box?
Clipper, 3 metre cord set, a #10 Heiniger detachable blade, 100ml Heiniger Oil, instructions, 12 month NZ warranty and cleaning brush.
A5 model
The size 10 blade leaves the coat 1.5mm when used by itself. This size blade also fits all universal comb attachments by any brand, for coat lengths from under 3mm to over 3cms (available separately).
This is an A5 model clipper, compatible with all standard A5 blades in all sizes, for coat lengths from under 1mm to over 1cm, made by Andis, Wahl, Geib, Oster and more (available separately). This model also fits the Andis and Wahl Equine blades range.
If you already own universla comb attachments and standard blades, it will fit your existing blades and accessories.
How to convert from corded to cordless
You'll need a battery pack, which is the combination of a battery and the charging unit.
If you already own the popular Heiniger Saphir Cordless clipper in purple, that comes with a battery pack, which is compatible with the black Heiniger Saphir clipper.
You can use that same battery and battery charging unit you already own to convert this clipper from corded to cordless, no extra products or purchases required.
However, if you don't have a battery pack, you can purchase a Heiniger Saphir battery and a Heiniger Saphir charging dock, in order to convert from cordless to corded (battery required) and charge the battery (charging dock required).
The Saphir Battery is a normal stock item, and if you're also in need of the Heiniger Saphir Battery Charging Dock just let us know and we'll check the current price and order it in for you (typically the charging dock and battery are a similar price each).

When will my order leave?
Same day dispatch for orders placed before 1pm Mon-Fri. Orders placed over the weekend or public holiday will be dispatched next business day.
When will my order arrive?
For New Zealand orders, most parcels arrive 1-3 working days after they've left us. Allow an extra day or two for rural delivery and oversized orders.
For Australian orders, estimated delivery is 3 to 7 working days after they've left us.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is estimated by weight and starts from $4.80. The website works out shipping in checkout, before you pay.
Are you in stock?
Stock levels on our website are live. What's showing in stock online is physically in stock in our NZ warehouse, ready to ship. Please note we do not work with back-orders.

Can I return what I've purchased?
If you’d like to return an item, please head to our contact page and fill out the return request form. We’ll be in touch to guide you through the process.
Change of Mind Returns
We offer a 7-Day Peace of Mind return policy.
If you've purchased the wrong item, size, or no longer need it, you can return it for an exchange or refund. Just make sure to contact us within 7 days of the products arrival.
Please be aware we can only accept items for return that are 100% brand new, unused and in resalable condition. Used or tested items are not eligible for a return. For change of mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Can I choose a refund, store credit, or exchange?
As long as your item is unused, and you have contacted us within 7 days of the products arrival, you can return your item for your choice of a refund or an exchange. We are unable to offer store credit.
For exchanges, you can use the value toward any other item of equal or greater value, with any additional shipping costs covered by you.
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method or your nominated bank account, minus a 2.5% processing fee.
Warranty Returns
All items we sell come with a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty, covering defects caused by manufacturing faults, but not wear and tear or misuse. For more about warranties and what’s covered, click here.
How do I Request a Warranty Return?
If you believe your product has a fault or defect, please head to our contact page and fill out the return request form. We’ll be in touch to help resolve the issue, and we’ll cover the cost of return postage if needed.
Can I choose a repair, refund, or replacement?
If possible, we always aim to repair first. We have authorised technicians available for every brand we sell. If a repair is not possible, then we will provide a replacement. If a replacement unit is not available, we will offer a refund.
Damaged Items
While we do our best to package every parcel safely, rough handing can lead to a less than ideal unboxing experience. If you receive a broken or damaged product, please let us know as soon as possible and send us an email to support@allgroom.co.nz with photo evidence of the damage.
