This midi size trimmer sits between a mini trimmer and a full-size clipper in both size and clipping power, so offers more options than a mini trimmer, and is lighter, quieter and more budget-friendly than a full-size cordless clipper.
The Lithium-Ion rechargeable battery provides a long 3-hour run-time from a 2-hour recharge. Rated for trimming all coat types and breeds, and for full-body clipping for light to medium adult coat types, and all types of puppy coats. Included with your trimmers is a complete starter kit, for coat lengths from 1mm up to 12mm with adjustable blade included, 4 lengths of comb attachments included, as well as starter size oil (we'd still recommend the purchase of a full-size oil now or later).

Description
The new Shernbao PGC-560 Trimmer is a midi-size trimmer for all coat types, that also has the power to use as a cordless clipper for full-body clipping for selected coat types. It's important to check the coat guide below before you buy to make sure it matches your needs.
What's in the box?
As well as the trimmer, this kit comes with a complete starter kit for 8 coat lengths from 1mm to 1.2cm. The 4 in 1 adjustable ceramic blade (included), gives you trimming lengths of 1mm, 1.3mm, 1.6mm and 1.9mm, and the clip-on chrome plastic comb attachments (included), give you coat lengths of 3mm, 6mm, 9mm and 12mm. Kit also includes a small starter-size oil, but we do recommend getting yourself a full size oil now or later as it's essential for use. These trimmers come with AllGroom's 12 month NZ warranty (more details about warranty and returns below).
Charging and run-time
This model has a USB charging cord (included), which you can plug in to a standard USB port on your computer, or can plug into the wall by using a charging brick (not included), such as your phone or portable speaker brick.
If fully discharged, a full charge takes 2 hours. Run-time from a full charge is 3 hours. Although lithium-ion batteries do have a much longer battery lifetime than the old-tech NiMH batteries, you can still further extend their life with good care: Caring for your lithium-ion battery
What's the longest coat length?
Please note this is a trimmer, not a clipper. Like all trimmers, is it not an A5 or universal model, so the longest coat length (unless used free-hand), for this model is 12mm. Universal comb attachments (which go up to 3cm coat length), do not fit this model. For longer coat lengths, either upgrade to a full-size clipper, or use your trimmer free-hand, or use scissors.
What type of blade is provided?
Trimmer blades cannot typically be sharpened, so good blade care will help extend how long your blade stays sharp before it needs to be replaced. See the blade care guide below. Replacement blades are available for this trimmer. Ceramic blades keep a sharp edge longer than steel cutting blades. This model comes with a ceramic cutting blade. Ceramic blades also run cooler than full-steel blades for less risk of blade burn, however like any blade, oil and coolant use is recommended. See the blade care guide for more advice.
What coats is this rated for?
This model is a midi-size trimmer rated for trimming all coat types. It is not a full-size or full-power clipper, so not officially rated for full body clipping, however has the power to cope with body clipping on light, thin, easy coats (such as a puppy's first coat, before they get their adult coat, or an adult with a light coat).
Rated for all coat types for trimming areas where the coat is naturally shorter and lighter, such as between paw pads, tidying up feet, tidying up faces, around the ears, eyes and mouth, and for sanitary trims (genitals, rectum, abdomen). Also used for targeted removal of knots and mats that can't be brushed or cut out.
A very popular option for Veterinary use for targeted coat removal to clear and inspect wounds, for surgical and IV prep. Also popular for trimming off mats for cats and rabbits.
Important This model will cope with full-body clipping for lighter, thinner or 'easy' coats but it is not rated for that use, and likely to struggle with thicker, knotted or matted areas. For thick, double, non-shed, mixed texture, wire, wool, knotted, matted or 'difficult' coats, we recommend you upgrade to a full-size, full-power clipper instead, and use the Shernbao as intended, as a trimmer for all coat types.

Delivery
When will my order leave?
Same day dispatch for orders placed before 1pm Mon-Fri. Orders placed over the weekend or public holiday will be dispatched next business day.
When will my order arrive?
For New Zealand orders, most parcels arrive 1-3 working days after they've left us. Allow an extra day or two for rural delivery and oversized orders.
For Australian orders, estimated delivery is 3 to 7 working days after they've left us.
How much is shipping?
Shipping is estimated by weight and starts from $4.80. The website works out shipping in checkout, before you pay.
Are you in stock?
Stock levels on our website are live. What's showing in stock online is physically in stock in our NZ warehouse, ready to ship. Please note we do not work with back-orders.

Can I return what I've purchased?
If you’d like to return an item, please head to our contact page and fill out the return request form. We’ll be in touch to guide you through the process.
Change of Mind Returns
We offer a 7-Day Peace of Mind return policy.
If you've purchased the wrong item, size, or no longer need it, you can return it for an exchange or refund. Just make sure to contact us within 7 days of the products arrival.
Please be aware we can only accept items for return that are 100% brand new, unused and in resalable condition. Used or tested items are not eligible for a return. For change of mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
Can I choose a refund, store credit, or exchange?
As long as your item is unused, and you have contacted us within 7 days of the products arrival, you can return your item for your choice of a refund or an exchange. We are unable to offer store credit.
For exchanges, you can use the value toward any other item of equal or greater value, with any additional shipping costs covered by you.
Refunds will be processed to the original payment method or your nominated bank account, minus a 2.5% processing fee.
Warranty Returns

How do I Request a Warranty Return?

Can I choose a repair, refund, or replacement?
If possible, we always aim to repair first. We have authorised technicians available for every brand we sell. If a repair is not possible, then we will provide a replacement. If a replacement unit is not available, we will offer a refund.
Damaged Items
While we do our best to package every parcel safely, rough handing can lead to a less than ideal unboxing experience. If you receive a broken or damaged product, please let us know as soon as possible and send us an email to support@allgroom.co.nz with photo evidence of the damage.
