The Wahl Smart Clip Cordless is a light-use clipper and trimmer in one (not rated for all coats - check below before you buy). Runs corded and cordless. Lithium-ion rechargeable battery. 3.5 hours of cordless run-time from 180 min re-charge. Also runs corded. LCD screen indicates the current battery level to ensure you know when charging is needed.

Coat & breed guide

This model is a dual-use clipper and trimmer. Note that trimming and full body clipping are not the same.

Trimming: Use for paw pads, between toes, genitals, abdomen, face, edges and under ears. Rated for all coat types when used as a trimmer only.

When used for full-body clipping: Rated light to medium use only, rated for all lighter, thinner puppy coats (before the adult coat comes through), and some adult dogs with lighter, thinner, 'easy' coats.

Important: For thick, double, wire, mixed texture, curly, wool, fleece, knotted or matted coats, upgrade to a heavy duty or super duty model, like the KM Cordless. If unsure if a clipper matches your dog's coat type or condition always contact us before you buy.

Kit includes: Smart Clip Clipper, professional snap on/off blade set, soft storage/travel case, four reinforced attachment combs (#1, #2, #3, #4), transformer, cleaning brush, blade oil. Comes with a 4-IN-1 adjustable blade, which is easy to detach and clean - no screws or tools needed (this is not an A5 model / universal clipper).

Does not fit universal comb attachments. The blade cannot be shapened.


For new users, it's important to read What to do before you clip and the Blade guide before first use. Additionally, ensure the animal is clean before clipping as this will give you a better cutting experience and assist with the durability of the blades.


When will my order leave?

Most orders leave the same day if placed by midday Monday to Friday. Large products (eg: tubs and tables), orders placed on weekends or public holidays usually leave the next working day

When will my order arrive?

Most orders arrive 1 to 2 working days after they've left us. Larger items may take 2 to 4 working days. Allow 1 to 2 days extra for rural delivery. If your order combines larger and smaller items, larger items may arrive a day or two after smaller items. If in a hurry, please check the delivery updates from our courier partners here for NZ Post and here for Toll.

How much is shipping?

Shipping starts from $3.80 for small, light items. Most orders are $6 for standard shipping up to 10kgs. Please note rural delivery has different rates. Bulk shipping rates apply for orders over 10kgs or high-volume products (such as tables, tubs, dryers and bulk shampoo). The website works out shipping in checkout, before you pay. 

Are you in stock?

Stock levels on our website are live. What's showing in stock online is physically in stock in our NZ warehouse, ready to ship.

Can I return what I've purchased?

By law we don't have to accept change of mind returns, so before you buy, please check with us first if you're not 100% sure if a product matches your needs. Keep in mind a change of mind return is not the same as a warranty return (for a suspected fault or defect), but purchasing the wrong product is considered change of mind.
