The Wahl Universal Stainless Steel Comb in Size 5 leaves the coat 16mm. This fits on all brands of A5 blades on both size 10 and size 30 blades, but do check the blade and clipper guide below before you buy. Stainless steel combs are recommended for all coats including difficult coats (thicker, double, mixed texture, curly etc) for a more secure fit than plastic combs. You can also get this size comb as part of the Wahl 8 set for coat lengths from 3mm to over 2.5cm.

Comb attachments are also called snap-on combs, clip-on combs, or guides. The Wahl Universal Stainless Steel combs fit on all brands of A5 style 1015 and 30 blades. A5 blades fit on all models of A5 clippers.

Will this fit my clipper?

This comb attachment will fit on your blade provided 1. your clipper is an A5 model by any brand (you can check the list of A5 clipper models here), and 2. your blade is a size 10, 15 or 30 (look for the blade number etched on the face of the blade). Wahl's stainless steel combs have a 4 sided fit that attaches more securely to the blade for all coat types, even thicker, double or curlier coats. 

Important: If you have not used this type of comb attachment before watch this video first for how to fit them on your blade. 

What blades can I use these with? 

For best results use with a 10 blade. To reduce the risk of damage to blade teeth, check the comb is attached properly (watch the video above first), and use with a 10 blade. Using a 30 blade will get the best results, however the finer teeth of a 30 blade are more damage-prone than a 10.

When will my order leave?

Most orders leave the same day if placed by midday Monday to Friday. Large products (eg: tubs and tables), orders placed on weekends or public holidays usually leave the next working day

When will my order arrive?

Most orders arrive 1 to 2 working days after they've left us. Larger items may take 2 to 4 working days. Allow 1 to 2 days extra for rural delivery. If your order combines larger and smaller items, larger items may arrive a day or two after smaller items. How much is shipping?

Shipping starts from $3.80 for small, light items. Most orders are $6 for standard shipping up to 10kgs. Please note rural delivery has different rates. Bulk shipping rates apply for orders over 10kgs or high-volume products (such as tables, tubs, dryers and bulk shampoo). The website works out shipping in checkout, before you pay. 

Are you in stock?

Stock levels on our website are live. What's showing in stock online is physically in stock in our NZ warehouse, ready to ship.
