Blade sharpening service for all brands of professional, standard, steel, A5 detachable blades including Andis, Wahl, Heiniger, Shernbao, Oster, Laube, SmartCoat and more.

Freight charge covers the cost of blade return. Your blade(s) still need to be shipped to our location in Panmure, Auckland. More information is below in the description.

Important: Always check the blade list below before you order as not all blades can be sharpened.

1. Add the quantity blades required for this service. Please send all blades at once, as freight is charged only once.
2. Choose the delivery method. Shipping to add return freight cost or pick up to drop off and collect the blades in person (Auckland only).
3. After placing you order: We'll send you an email containing a form to fill out with basic information, as well as our address to send to.
4. If shipping: Please bubble wrap blade/s separately in a courier bag to avoid damage. Please note we do not offer the prepaid bag anymore, so tracking and sending costs are subject to the customer. Drop off bag to your post shop or give to your postie.
5. If Picking-up: please wrap your blades separetly and securely, then bring to us between 1pm and 4pm with the form filled up.
6. Allow 7 to 10 working days turn-around once blade/s are received. 

We'll return your sharpened blade by courier anywhere in NZ and send you a complimentary pre-paid bag for next time.

If Click & Collect, we'll advise once it's ready for collection.

Please keep your extra bag in a safe place, and use it to send in your blades for the next time you purchase a blade sharpening service!

IMPORTANT: Check the blades list below carefully before ordering this service. Blades sent that are not able to be sharpened, will be returned to sender and refunded minus a $5 courier fee, if shipping. Alternatively we'll get in touch to be collected. If unsure, contact us to check before ordering.

Blades that CAN be sharpened with this service:

All extra wide, steel, A5 blades in all sizes including the popular Andis T10, Andis T84, Andis ShowEdge, and Wahl extra wide blades.

All standard width, steel, single length A5 blades in all sizes including 50, 30, 15, 10, 9, 7, 5, 4 and 3. This includes these popular models of clippers:


Andis AGC, Excel, Endurance, Pulse ZR II
Wahl KM series; KMSS, KM2, KM5, KM10, KM Cordless 
Heiniger Saphir (corded and cordless), Opal

Please note Andis CeramicEdge Blades cannot be sharpened with this service. These come originally with most Andis A5 Clipper models.

Trimmer blades, ceramic blades, 5 in 1 blades, adjustable blades with multiple lengths using one blade, taper blades, extra-wide blades & blades with plastic attachments. This includes blades for these popular trimmers:

Shernbao Smart Mini 

This is a specialist blade sharpening service, using machinery calibrated for dog and horse blades, combined with years of experience. Blades do not have flat surfaces. To ensure they cut instead of 'chew' or fold the coat, blades are hollow ground (allowing blades to cut like tiny scissors), and set to the correct tension. This ensures blades perform their best, run cooler and quieter, and won't put the clipper blade drive or motor under extra strain. Your blade will retain a sharper edge for longer, resulting in more uses between sharpens.


When will my order leave?

Most orders leave the same day if placed by midday Monday to Friday. Large products (eg: tubs and tables), orders placed on weekends or public holidays usually leave the next working day

When will my order arrive?

Most orders arrive 1 to 2 working days after they've left us. Larger items may take 2 to 4 working days. Allow 1 to 2 days extra for rural delivery. If your order combines larger and smaller items, larger items may arrive a day or two after smaller items. How much is shipping?

Shipping starts from $3.80 for small, light items. Most orders are $6 for standard shipping up to 10kgs. Please note rural delivery has different rates. Bulk shipping rates apply for orders over 10kgs or high-volume products (such as tables, tubs, dryers and bulk shampoo). The website works out shipping in checkout, before you pay. 

Are you in stock?

Stock levels on our website are live. What's showing in stock online is physically in stock in our NZ warehouse, ready to ship.

Can I return what I've purchased?

By law we don't have to accept change of mind returns, so before you buy, please check with us first if you're not 100% sure if a product matches your needs. Keep in mind a change of mind return is not the same as a warranty return (for a suspected fault or defect), but purchasing the wrong product is considered change of mind.
