A5 Detachable Blades: We sharpen all major brands, including Andis, AllGroom, Wahl, Geib Buttercut, Heiniger, Oster, Laube, SmartCoat, and more.

Adjustable & Trimmer Blades: Sharpening available for Andis and Wahl 5-in-1 adjustable blades, as well as Wahl and Heiniger 4-in-1 trimmer blades. Please note that we do not sharpen MINI trimmer blades.

Horse & Livestock Blades: We expertly sharpen Heiniger Xplorer and other large animal blades. Please note due to the size and specific grinding process required, all horse and livestock blades require two (2) sharpening services per set to complete. Please adjust your cart quantity accordingly.

Description

How It Works

1. Add Your Blades to Cart: Select the total quantity of blades you need sharpened. Please send all your blades together, as the return freight fee is only charged once per order.

2. Choose Your Return Method: At checkout, choose how you want your items returned to you:

  • Nationwide Courier: The shipping fee covers the return courier back to you.
  • Click & Collect (Auckland): Collect from our Panmure office for free.

 

3. Complete the Form: After placing your order, check your email. We will send you a confirmation email containing our shipping address and a basic information form to print and fill out.

4. Send Us Your Items: Secure your blades properly in an individual wrap, include your completed form, and ship the parcel via your local post shop. (Please note: Sending and tracking costs are the responsibility of the customer. Customers are also responsible for ensuring items are packaged securely to prevent damage or breakage during transit).

5. Drop Off Your Items (Auckland Only): If you chose Click & Collect, wrap your blades securely and bring them to our Panmure office between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM, along with your completed sharpening form.

6. Turnaround Time Once your blades arrive at our facility, please allow 7–10 working days for our technicians to complete the sharpening and quality check.

Blades We CAN Sharpen

Standard & Wide A5 Steel Blades: Standard A5 and wide steel blades designed to fit professional clippers from Andis, Wahl, Heiniger, Oster, and more. Including popular models like Andis T10, Andis T84, Andis ShowEdge, and Wahl Extra Wide.

Adjustable & Trimmer Blades: Andis and Wahl 5-in-1 adjustable blades, as well as Wahl and Heiniger 4-in-1 trimmer blades.

Horse and Large Animal Blades: Heiniger Xplorer and other horse/livestock blades.

⚠️ IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Ceramic blade cutters cannot be sharpened. However, you can easily refresh your blade by purchasing a new ceramic cutter replacement. [Buy Ceramic Cutter Replacements Here]

If you would like the stainless-steel base of your blade sharpened, please purchase our blade sharpening service and add a replacement ceramic cutter to your cart. Our team will gladly install the new cutter for you.

Please note: If you send blades that cannot be sharpened, they will be returned to you. For courier orders, your refund will be processed minus the return courier fee.

Blades Only: Please send blades only—do not ship clippers or tools unless you have organized a separate repair quote with us.

 

Need help detaching your blade? If you are unsure how to safely remove the blade from your clipper, please watch our instructional video. Do not unscrew the blade components apart—simply detach the whole blade from the clipper hinge.

Delivery

When will my order leave?

Same day dispatch for orders placed before 1pm Mon-Fri. Orders placed over the weekend or public holiday will be dispatched next business day.

When will my order arrive?

For New Zealand orders, most parcels arrive 1-3 working days after they've left us. Allow an extra day or two for rural delivery and oversized orders.

For Australian orders, estimated delivery is 3 to 7 working days after they've left us.

How much is shipping?

Shipping is estimated by weight and starts from $4.80. The website works out shipping in checkout, before you pay. 

Are you in stock?

Stock levels on our website are live. What's showing in stock online is physically in stock in our NZ warehouse, ready to ship. Please note we do not work with back-orders.

At AllGroom, we stand by our products and want you to be completely happy with your purchase, but if something goes wrong or you’re not satisfied, please reach out to us—we’re here to help!

Can I return what I've purchased?

If you’d like to return an item, please head to our contact page and fill out the return request form. We’ll be in touch to guide you through the process.

Change of Mind Returns

We offer a 7-Day Peace of Mind return policy.

If you've purchased the wrong item, size, or no longer need it, you can return it for an exchange or refund. Just make sure to contact us within 7 days of the products arrival. 

Please be aware we can only accept items for return that are 100% brand new, unused and in resalable condition. Used or tested items are not eligible for a return. For change of mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

Can I choose a refund, store credit, or exchange?

As long as your item is unused, and you have contacted us within 7 days of the products arrival, you can return your item for your choice of a refund or an exchange. We are unable to offer store credit.

For exchanges, you can use the value toward any other item of equal or greater value, with any additional shipping costs covered by you.

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method or your nominated bank account, minus a 2.5% processing fee.

Can previous orders be discounted if there’s a promotion later? 

Promotional pricing is only valid for orders placed during the promotional period. We do not offer price adjustments, refunds, or store credit for orders placed before or after a promotion. All orders are charged at the price shown at checkout, and online prices are subject to change at any time.

Warranty Returns

All items we sell come with a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty, covering defects caused by manufacturing faults, but not wear and tear or misuse. For more about warranties and what’s covered, click here.

How do I Request a Warranty Return?

If you believe your product has a fault or defect, please head to our contact page and fill out the return request form. We’ll be in touch to help resolve the issue, and we’ll cover the cost of return postage if needed.

Can I choose a repair, refund, or replacement?

If possible, we always aim to repair first. We have authorised technicians available for every brand we sell. If a repair is not possible, then we will provide a replacement. If a replacement unit is not available, we will offer a refund.

Damaged Items

While we do our best to package every parcel safely, rough handing can lead to a less than ideal unboxing experience. If you receive a broken or damaged product, please let us know as soon as possible and send us an email to support@allgroom.co.nz with photo evidence of the damage.
